Every image that I captured through my lens has a unique story. If it is a cultural event or a gathering, I usually live that area for a period of time to understand the nuances, the reason behind their practices. My photographs usually do not have captions, rather my attempt here is to let the viewer enjoy the sequential flow of each series. Though recreating the experience at the ritual to the fullest would be very difficult, I feel photography is an equally good opportunity to glimpse its aesthetics alongside slice-of-life moments. The intention was also to bring forth the little know cultural side of many regions of India and especially Telangana.
